Washing information
All our clothes can be washed. Please, for doing it you can follow the next advises.
The caring is very similar to those that are needed for a delicate piece of clothing, like a wool jumper or a silk pashmina. For consulting any doubt, you can ask in: hola@pazmesa.art
1. Temperature
First, you should plunge the clothe in water. The water temperature must be warm or fresh. You must not expose the piece to drastic changes in temperature if you want to avoid shrinking.
A neutral soap must be used always to handwash the cloth.
2. Rinse
During the rinse process you can add into the water only a few drops of conditioner, do not abuse. The washing and the rinse must be done with no temperature variation water and never wring out or squeeze the piece.
After the rinse, if you want to eliminate any water left it is of main importance to not twist the clothes. For eliminating the water excess you can wrap the piece softly in a towel.
3. Pegging
The pieces must be stretched out in a plain-shadowed area to leave them exposed to dry.
Never hang it vertically using pegs, the clothes are wet and heavy after the washing, so we need to manipulate them with care and, over all, do not put them in vertical position.
4. Ironing
The pieces can be ironed in a medium temperature, using a piece of cloth between the piece and the iron, always in the vertical of the piece that use to match with the warp and without pressing.
5. Special cares
Any of the clothes from Paz Mesa, especially if they are large-sized, carpets, bedspreads, tablecloth, curtains, when they are relocated you must never pull strongly in the sides, since is a handmade cloth that need to be treated with careful.
As a specific care for the cushions, if at any time you need to wash them, it is essential to take out the pillowcase with the inside filler before. For taking it out, be careful about not forcing the sides of the opening.
